Hi doctor,
I m 35 weeks 4 days pregnant. Growth scan of 34 weeks AC was 270 mm. Yesterday I went to regular check up doctor wants to check the AFI. THE fetal servey as follows
Presentation-Cephalic
Placenta- posterior
Liquor- normal
AFI - 12.4
Fetal heart rate 138 bpm
Middle cerebal artery PI 1.2
Umbilical Artery PI 0.98
Impression: Doppler study of Umbilical Artery revealed normal blood flow and increased diastolic flow seen in middle cerebral artery.
Is there any problem of increased flow in mca. What are the problems arise due to increase flow in mca. Is the baby will be fine? Is there any chances of going labour this week. Increased flow can effect the baby movement?
