Hi, we have been trying for baby for the past 6 months, this month I still dint get my periods (44 days since the last period) I have tried 2 HPT one on (36th day) another one today (44th day) both were negative. Usually I'll have regular periods (27/28 days cycle) but after we started trying I'm getting irregular periods for the past 5 months (30 to 33 days cycle) but it never exceeded 40 days at all. I'm having back pain for the past 2 weeks feeling nauseous after having meals and little gassy sometimes. Should I wait some more days before the next test ? Or what if I get my periods? Usually it's not that late.

Hello, Get a beta hCG blood test done to determine whether you are pregnant or not. There can be slight variations in your period cycles in case you are under treatment. There is nothing to worry about. Consult an IVF specialist for further evaluation. You can also visit my clinic International Fertility Centre located in Green Park, New Delhi so that I can examine you better. You can also mail me your contact details to reach you.

Go for blood beta hcg testing It will confirm if u r pregnancy and relieve ur stress too which may be one of cause of ur irregular periods. Slight change in pattern of bleeding during treatment of subfertility is common. So don't worry about periods regularity if u r under treatment. Consult an IVF consultant.

Dear Practo user, It is difficult to answer your question without knowing the full details. I would advise you to get ultrasound of lower abdomen done (if not done recently). Transvaginal scan would be more appropriate. Let that be decided by ultrasonologist. Consult Gynaecologist thereafter.
