Hi Doctors am in 19th week of my pregnancy and my USG report mentions healthy cervix and endo cervical canal appears collapsed. Am a bit worried after reading about it on the internet. Wanted to understand if I stand at the risk of second trimester miscarriage or pre term delivery. Please guide a severely tensed female with my first pregnancy

Hi. Your ultrasound is fine. Cervical canal should not be open. That will risk preterm birth. Collapsed is how it should be. Nothing to worry about
