Hi doc my Lmp was 10 July 2018 and I have apla syndrome and I am taking heparin injection 25000 iu and m taking 5000 iu daily. Today I had undergone a scan and my amniotic fluid ranges 6-7 and baby weight is 1.2 kg and bpd-7.8cm, hc-27.9cm, ac-23.6cm, fl-5.3 cm respectively. As my amniotic fluid is low my doctor ask me to increase dose of Heparin i.e. 10000iu daily. So if my amniotic fluid is 6-7 is it a matter of concern and if I increase my liquid intake does the amniotic fluid can increase and sleeping and lying on left side will also help. Plz guide me and what else can I do to increase my amniotic fluid.

At 27 weeks  the baby s weight is satisfactory and the amniotic fluid is towards the lower side , less than 5 is considered  as oligohydramnios and could be dangerous . So yes increase your fluid intake  , protein intake , lying onto your sides would help. Follow up scans to measure your  AFI  is indicated.
