Pregnancy Related Baby weight
Hello Doctor! Am in my 35 weeks of pregnancy..had scan on 17 th it was stated loop of cord around the neck...is it a cause for concern? We are planning for csection by month end any way but in the mean time..if there is any emergency doc told to come immediately like water leak or bleeding or minimising of movements...does cord around the neck effect baby's growth? because In scan baby weight was 2.5 atleast if it's 3 kg I thought it would be good by delivery time Waiting for replies Thank you..

You are planning for a Caesarean. The concerns as mentioned by your Doctor are genuine. If you can go upto 39 weeks then your baby will become 3 kg.

Due to cord around neck there is no urgency. Generally all pregnant ladies need to monitor and count baby's movements especially in the 9th month. It is a general advice that all obstetricians give every pregnant lady in the 9th month.
