Pregnancy paranoia after periods
I last had unprotected sex in december 2 days before my period was due (day 28 of my cycle) and ended up taking an ipill within 48 hours, then I got my period 5 days late but it was a normal bleed. (I have regular 27-33 day cycles) Then, I also got my period in January after a 33 day cycle with normal flow of 5 days (lots of blood, clots, etc.) I'm due for my February period in 3 days but not getting my usual symptoms except sore breasts/nipples, acne, watery/egg white discharge. Should I be worried or am I ok ? I haven't had any sex since December, but I'm still worried about pregnancy.

See your period got delayed in first cycle after ipill because it contains progesterone which delayed the period and also avoid pregnancy by making your uterus unfavourable for any chance of pregnancy .. when i pill tablet washed out of your body you got your periods hence the delay .. and because of this delay your uterus adapted to a new routine .. so relax a delay of 7-10 days in period is absolutely normal

It's highly unlikely to think of pregnancy in your case especially after 2 normal cycles and no history of intercourse. Delayed periods can be due to alot of other reasons cause hormonal imbalance - stress, eating habits(both loosing or gaining weight), thyroid disorder(you can get TSH levels checked) ...for now wait for 7-10 days if you still don't get your menses...get an ultrasound done- if thick ET is there and no other concerns then withdrawal bleeding can be given. So relax and wait.

You are safe — pregnancy is extremely unlikely. • You took emergency contraception (i-pill) on time • You had normal periods in BOTH December & January • No intercourse after December 👉 Getting proper periods after the event rules out pregnancy. Current symptoms like breast soreness, acne, discharge are due to normal hormonal changes or i-pill effect, not pregnancy. 💡 Relax — your February period should come soon. If anxiety persists, do one urine pregnancy test for reassurance, but medically you are OK.

Since you had a normal period in December (after taking i-pill) and again a normal 5-day period in January, pregnancy is extremely unlikely. Also, you have not had intercourse since December. Emergency pills can temporarily disturb hormones and slightly alter cycle length or symptoms for 1–2 months. The symptoms you’re describing (sore breasts, acne, egg-white discharge) are common premenstrual or ovulation-related changes. You can wait for your period. If delayed by more than 7 days for reassurance, do a urine pregnancy test — it should be negative based on your history. No need to worry. For future, consider regular contraception instead of emergency pills.
