Asked for Female, 28 Years

Hi doctors, My wife is 2nd month pregnant, she has severe abdomen with gas. As our gynacologist sugested sustain SR for pain and mucaine gel syrup for gas. Is this pains are normal in 2nd month or any issue. Since we didn't done with early pregnancy scan. Please suggest.
