Pregnancy
My last period started on April 9. I believe I ovulated around April 24–26, and we tried on April 23, 24, and 25. I’m currently 6 days late and took a pregnancy test yesterday, which was positive. My beta hCG level came back at 895 mIU/mL. Based on my LMP, I should be around 5 weeks pregnant, but the beta hCG level corresponds more closely with 2–3 weeks. Since ovulation likely occurred around April 24, that timeline seems to match the hCG result. I’m a bit confused about how far along I actually am. Is the beta hCG level appropriate for this stage, and should I go by my LMP or ovulation date to track the pregnancy? Could you please help me understand how many weeks pregnant I actually am and whether the beta hCG level is appropriate for this stage? Thank you so much in advance!
