Hello, i m 39weeks pregnant. Doc said still baby head not dropped in pelvic region. (first pregnancy, cephalic presentation).
Wat could be the reason for head not coming to pelvis region?

In labour it should be reassessed.reasons might be cephalopelvic disproportions,small pelvis and big baby.

Cephalopelvic disproprtion means head is not having much space to go down
Or baby head position not proper for engagement of head in pelvis
Or cord around neck may be one of reason
Next Steps
wait till 40 wks then go for induction and trial of labour as per ur gynaecologist opinion
