I am 13 weeks pregnant via ivf. I had anal fissures while traveling a lot few years before. And it has not troubled me for years now as I eat fruits, fibre etc. I have not used laxatives. Now the Dr. Gave me laxatives and asked to use if needed. I did not use it as I got to. Go tobathroom in the morning itself. Yesterday I found hard to poop. And not wanting and afraid to push or to strain I did not empty it fully. Yesterday night I took very little laxative . But still I feel poop standing near anus and not coming out but I feel like pooping . What to do now. As iam advice to be in bed rest there is no one to take to hospital. Even when I urinatr this feels like coming out but it does not. Will it harm my baby ? Have done nt scan dual marker which is good.

You are 13 weeks pregnant.
Please go to your Gynaecologist who has been seeing you and tell your problem.
Under the circumstances I would have advised Dulcolax or Glycerine suppositories ( which are kept inside the rectum) . They facilitate passage of stools.
If that is also not successful you may need a low enema. But bowel must be emptied.
