Pregnancy confusion
I and my wife had unprotected sex on 25 December she took 72 pills within one hour. After 4 days she experienced bleeding which lasted only for one day. She usually has a menstruation cycle around 16 every month but now she has not had a maturation cycle till now. But she experienced bleeding just 6 days ago only for one day. Is she pregnant or not?

Emergency contraceptive pill like unwanted 72 as its action can give withdrawal bleeding within a few days of consuming it and make it difficult to predict the next menstrual cycle at times . However , in case of missed periods it is always a good idea to go for a pregnant test or talk to your doctor about the same,  as an emergency pill has a failure rate too.
Next Steps
Can connect with online consultation for thorough discussion and alternative contraceptive discussion.
Health Tips
Consider regular contraceptive options if frequency of intercourse is high. Emergency contraceptive pills should not be consumed frequently.
