Pregnancy at 39
Hello doctor, I had my first baby through IVF in 2019, and then continuously for 3 yrs I had abortion, 1 was because of miscarriage and 2 as I was not ready. Currently my 39th yr is running and will it be safe for my body to plan a baby. Need guidance.

You can definitely plan pregnancy at 39 yrs of age..but it may be high risk pregnancy as age is risk factor..you may get hypertension, diabetes mellitus,anamolus baby,PPH.BUT if you done. Proper antenatal check up proper treatment...you may overcome all these things...

Your pregnancy will be a high risk one with the age being the very first high risk factors. You will be predisposed to hypertension, thyorid as well as other lifestyle disease

As age advances definetly elderly pregnancy is not safe it includes so many risks diabetes in pregnancy , hypertension thyroid and etc..
