Pregnancy and hypothyroidism
My wife is pregnant from 6 weeks. She has just started taking thyronirm 25 mg from yesterday as the TSH value read at 5.7. she had an history of hypothyroidism from 6 months although she didnt take any medicine. Will that be an issue in the development of the baby in the past six weeks that she had not takrn thyronorm?

Not to worry go for colour Doppler scan at 14weeks. And start hormonal treatment  and folicacid acid along with thyronorm.
