Pregnancy and blood serum

Asked for Female, 21 Years

My last period was around may 29th and I conceived June 7th .I went to the doctor today to do a blood test ! the lady who drew my blood also spun my blood and used my serum from my blood on a hcg strip and it came out negative ? Could those be false results since I haven't even missed my period and it hasn't even been two weeks at the most?
