For achieving pregnancy, regular sex is must during fertile period (During time of Ovulation). If ur wife's periods r regular, do regular sex from 11 to 17th day of period (1ST DAY when period start). No need to do sex many times, once daily is good enough.

It is not guaranteed that pregnancy can be successful each time u do sex. You can do as many times as possible. Sperms are in millions, only one is needed to do pregnancy.
