Pregnancy 40th weeks running
My wife is pregnant and currently 40th weeks running and still there are no labor pain yet. Last ultrasound done on 37th week 2 day where everything was normal and even blood test report every thing is normal. Could you please suggest shell we wait for pain and till how may weeks waiting is safe.

Best to get ultrasound done for Amniotic fluid and visit your doctor

Hi. Please visit yr dr . If all is fine she will put medicine to induce pains . If AFI is normal can wait upto 7 days post EDD for delivery .

Yes if there is no other risk factor like high BP, derranged liver enzymes as told by your doctor, then u must wait for labour pains to occur provided baby movements are adequate as perceived by your wife. You can wait upto 7 days after your expected date; if pains do not start then pains will have to be induced by your doctor
