Started with pink spotting when i wiped took hpt fri was positive had red spotting that same nite went away the another hpt on Sun positive then Monday doc said preg my hcg on tuesday was 1185 on thursday they had dropped to 1009 is this always a bad thing

hCG dropping is not a good sign. It should have doubled in 48 hours. This indicates that pregnancy is not viable. Considering your wife's age, she will need to undergo testing for APLA, thyroid and diabetes. See your doctor right away
