Prediabetic/ hypoglacemia
Hi Dr... My daughter have glycosilated hemoglobin 5.7 percent.. and mean plasma glucose 117mg/dl... In April month... Recently in June Fbs  49 mg/dl and Pbs 78 mg/dl What is the condition... is it prediabetic or hypoglycemia... some what confusion in this am unable to understand...can u any one clear Dr.. And let me know the precautions tooo Tq

Hba1c and random sugar is absolutely normal Fbs,pp in lower range of sugar...that is hypoglycemia.. Is she having any symptoms.. Need to evaluate Consult online for further guidance

Hba1c is fine. F/P is low A few questions, 1. What is her age? 2. Is she over weight/obese? 3. What was her diet the day before the test and what was the time gap between dinner and testing
Next Steps
Pls do the following tests 1. Fasting/Post Prandial sugar 2. Fasting/Post prandial insulin & C-Peptide levels
