Pounding heartbeat
Hello Doctor,
I recently underwent IVF treatment and egg retrieval is done. I have taken a month break in between and next month will be my frozen embryo transfer. From the day i started treatment i am feeling heartbeat near my neck. I have taken ECG and 2D Echo and both are normal. My BP and pulse is normal as well. Does hormonal changes causes pounding heartbeat? My doc is not able to diagnose the reason for the same. Is there any causes to worry? This feeling is interpreting my daily activities. I am v much worried.

This seems to be a case of Anxiety. You are apprehensive about the outcome of IVF.
Please record your pulse rate three times a day. (morning, noon and before sleeping) for a week. Then a decision can be made if you need treatment for your palpitations.
