Brushing is must after delivery . It is a myth that brushing teeth after pregnancy weakens them. In fact opposite is true. Due to various hormonal changes your gums need extra care, so brush your teeth twice daily. Clean your tongue also. Rinse your mouth with water whenever you eat anything.
You can use warm saline water as a mouthwash. It will help in healing of gums and maintaining healthy teeth. Take care of your teeth and keep smiling.

There is no issue with brushing. In fact the better your oral hygiene is, the better it is for the new born. Mouthwashes are not needed as such if you're brushing well twice a day.
Rinse your mouth after each meal and clean the baby's mouth including the tongue, gums and palate after feeding the baby every time.
