Post-MTP Bleeding: Seeking Guidance
I underwent a medical termination of pregnancy (MTP) in my sixth week on December 1st. I experienced heavy bleeding for seven days, and my gynecologist prescribed Trapic Mf, which reduced the bleeding, stopping completely by the 19th. An ultrasound on December 11th confirmed the completion of the abortion, and my gynecologist prescribed iron tablets for a week. On December 26th, I had a regular period for five days, but it decreased to two pads a day. I've been bleeding continuously for 24 days now, and it hasn't stopped. On January 14th, I contacted my gynecologist due to heavier bleeding and feeling weak. She advised Trapic Mf three times a day for two days and instructed me to visit if the bleeding persisted. Since it didn't stop, I visited her on the 16th. An ultrasound showed everything was normal. She prescribed Trapic MF thrice a day, Freedase, and requested a CBC, which came back normal. It's the third day of medication, and my bleeding is heavier, especially during sleep.
