Post menopausal bleeding with thickened endometrium increases the risk of endometrial cancer. So hysterectomy is advised. Bilateral oophorectomy is done according to patient age , history and risk factors.
Hi
Better to go for endometrial biopsy instead of surgery directly.
I am an oncologist.
Biopsy report matters for amount of surgery to be done and if malignancy to guide family for screening
