Post Finastride Syndrome
Took first oral(40 days) and then topical finastride(60 days). Reported huge loss of libido.
Blood test, hormonal panel all came back normal.
Taken various ayurvedic medicines, ashwagandha, gokshura, etc.
Anti depressants/ mood stablizers: stablon, trazonil, wellbutrin
taken courses of tadlafil 5mg/ day to 20 mg per week.
No improvement so far. complete loss of morning erection, random erections and inability to
orgasm

Hi.. yes Finasteride can cause sexual Dysfunction. However once the medicine is discontinued the symptoms subside. In some case reports it takes up to 3 months for return to normal functioning. However some patients may have a nocebo effect and have psychological dysfunction. Need further history regarding the same to advise appropriately.
