Post covid mucormycosis
I got my symptom and was tested positive for covid on 30 April. I recovered from covid. Was on steroid tablets for a week, now my fasting glucose is 80. Any chances to develop black fungus? how long does it take to show symptoms of black fungus after getting recovered from covid ?

Keep sugar levels under control..... You should avoid overuse of steroids.... Also don't wear soiled mask wear clean mask.... Post covid the mucormycosis may occur within 6 weeks..... 12-15 days at the earliest so you should be aware of warning symptoms like.... Black nasal discharge, bleeding from nose, anesthesia of face, black spots over face and around eyes and palate, dental pain, pain and swelling in eyes, and decrease in vision and decrease in movements of eyes....

Mucormycosis occurs in individuals who are immunocopramised/Uncontrollable Diabetes/On prolonged steroid theorpy. You sugar is within normal limits. So no need to worry.
