Post bariatric digestion
My father underwent a roux n y bariatric surgery on the 10th of December. He is not able to consume any milk or milk products since then as it causes diarrhoea till date. His surgeon prescribed econorm tablet which counters all digestion issues. But can he take econorm lifelong? He cannot digest many foods, but things go down fine if he takes econorm 15-20 minutes before meal. Will he need to take this tablet lifelong?
