Polycystic ovarian disease
I am having pcos. I have not got periods for the last 5 months. Please advise if primolut n is a good option. What is the dosage?

Having PCOS makes your periods irregular due to hormonal imbalance in your body. Before taking any progesterone tablets for withdrawal bleeding it is best to check that you are not pregnant (if u r sexually active) by getting a urine pregnancy test done. You can take either tablet Primolut -N 5mg twice a day for 5 days or tablet Modus 10mg twice a day for 5 days. Wait for atleast 5-7days after you stop the medication for your period.

I would suggest you consult your gynaec to get treated for PCOS since you should have atleast 3 periods in a year to prevent other problems like thickening of endometrium(inner lining of uterus).
Losing weight by exercising and helathy diet is one thing that you could do yourself. Even a 10% weight loss would improve your condition drastically.
