Sir/Madam, Is it advisable to get my four month old baby pneumonia vaccine ? I mean I want to know how useful and effective it is.

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. Pneumonia vaccine is important to protect baby against serious pneumococcal pneumonia. If you can afford for give it. Govt has also started to administer it since 13 may 2017 in few small districts of India. And soon in next 3-5 years it will be essential vaccine once it comes in govt immunization schedule.
