I was feeling severe pain in the right side of my chest and was facing shortness of breath. I was diagnosed with Right-sided pleurisy and Upper Respiratory Tract Infection on 10th Nov 2018. I was given a course of antibiotics along with other medicines (included Predmet also) and completed my dose by 8th Dec 2018. My chest X-rays were normal and are still normal, however, I'm still, sometimes, feeling pain on the right side of my chest as well as back and shoulders, at times. I recently (28th Dec) got a CBC done which showed an ESR of 37 which was previously 24. Though, my TLC reduced from 12500 to 8700.
Hence, I'd like to know if I should take further course of medicines or the pain/inflammation will go away on its own, and if the infection is still persisting?
Thanks a lot in advance.
