I had FNAC yesterday on a 5*5mm nodule on right thyroid and results came like this- "Microscopic findings: Smears show predominantly blood with scant colloid with few clusters of follicular cells, some in microacinar pattern. IMPRESSION: Thy3a Excision advisable for exact characterization" Can anyone please explain? I also have frequent left hand pain and back pain (it'll randomly come and go away) without doing anything strenuous and have tachycardia too. Is it happening because of the nodule?

Yes the Fnac is not showing any specific diagnosis.TFT needed. Also tachycardia may be due to thyroid imbalances but left hand pain does not look related to it.(Tachycardia due to cardiac issues can cause left hand pain) Kindly get your thyroid profile done and also do you have a thyroid scan with you?
