Please advise
Hi doctor,i was suffering from bp since 7 yrs ,using metaprolol25 mg .one month back my bp was 170/100 increased my dosage form 25 mg to 50mg by physician now it is 130/80..since 1 yr i am having diabetic also which is in control now with the help of cetapin xr 1G ..i read some where is metaprolol not good for diabetic patients.can you give your valuable suggestions.and help me on this..thanks in advance..

Metoprolol is not harmful although it is not the ideal bp medicine for those with diabetes. Better medicines are available which can be started after evaluating you .
