Hi doctor I am 25 years female planning for a baby...I got abortion due to inancephally baby..Doctor suggested to check homosteine levels and chromosome levels...My homosteine level is 15 and got chromosome result has 46XX,14pstk+ ,my husband chromosome result is 46XY...Can we plan..Is the levels are normal

Hi there. Do not worry. Your chromosome report and homyosystein level is good. A bit borderline but not to be worried about. In today's date it usually happens with most of the women there is nothing to be avoided much if there is a miscarriage anencephaly initially. One of the reasons could be low Folic acid intake during the first trimester which causes this and there could be many other variable causes including the pollution in today's environment.
