Pitted edema right foot
Hello Doctors, I have pitted edema in my right leg for almost 6 months now. Almost all tests are normal, like kidney, liver, veins, thyroid, BP, sugar levels, filaria. Except i had high uric acid, even that's normal now and doctors say that's not the problem for swelling. Tried general physician, ayurvedic, rheumatologist, physiotherapist. But nothing helped. Please suggest.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. When you have done all the necessary tests, dont you think it would be of great help if you had attached the reports along with this question. Either repost the question along with the reports or consult a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain.

Hello there..... I went through your query.... Limit alcoholic beverages and drinks sweetened with fruit sugar (fructose). Instead, drink plenty of nonalcoholic beverages, especially water.....Limit intake of foods high in purines, such as red meat, organ meats and seafood....Exercise regularly and lose weight. Keep your body at a healthy weight reduces your risk of complications.....
