Pinkish colour in urine
Hi doctors, My baby boy is 3.5 months old. From past few weeks we have observed a pinkish  colour stain in urine. And we have got urine routine and culture and sensitivity test done. Report is normal..all fine..(negative) Can u plz let me know what the cause of this colour in urine.? Pinkish colour. Regards, Kavya

It is due to urate crystals and is often present in infant's urine. Rest assured as the reports are normal

Hi kavya... If you've noted a reddish orange stain on your baby's diaper you may be feeling panicky thinking that its blood. While it's important to make sure it isn't blood, in your case urine routine is normal then mostly it should not be problematic. "brick colored" stain

Normally it's due to uric acid crystals. It's normal in new born or infants. As the investigations were normal, no need to worry
