Hi, I'm 24 years old.
I am a medical student myself and request a much more experienced doctor to confirm diagnosis.
I assume my problem is a phimotic ring that is constricting or more like not elastic. I am able to retract my foreskin all the way and view the glans. However after full retraction, it hurts a bit (more like soreness).
I went for a consult, asked about the double slit procedure, he recommended circumcision. What would be your advice?

Thank you for asking. I can understand the distress you are through. By you description it appears to be a Phemosis. It primarily being a surgical problem, the management is surgical. Circumcision is the definitive treatment. Do not worry. It is not a major procedure. But it will be cured permanently. If left untreated, chances of infection are high.
