Phimosis due to scarring
Hi,
I am a male 33 years old with no blood sugar or hyper tension issues. Health and blood work is normal. Tsh levels were high but will be tracked for further treatment.
I suffered from ballanitis an year back which was treated successfully with a topical cream. However, it left a light colored skin behind which cracks every now and then. Once it cracks, there is some swelling which prevents retraction of penis.
I consulted a urologist who recommended circumcision. I am looking for a second opinion. I have been told by others suffering similar ailments that topical steroidal creams can be used for treatment.

Steroid creams should not be used for long term. It is common to develop contracture after an episode of balanitis. Circumcision may be an good option
