Had unprotected sex and it was my 6th day on periods. took an ipill within 48hrs
after 5 days had bleeding with the flow similar to my periods. also, after using the washroom i suffer from abdominal pain and itching.
Bleeding still continues with the pain and itching.
Is it the side effect of the pill ? do i need to consult a doctor?

There is no need of ipill if you stay immediately after menses.its safe period.unsafe period is from 9th day to 18 th day in a regular cycle.ipill is not 100% effective and also makes cycle irregular.better use condom or regular ocps.
