Periods not happening
I had sex with my partner on 21st April n we used condom n after that I have taken pill but it's the 9 day since n iam not down still ...n my period day according to last period is on 2nd may..but last time when I took pill then happened on the 6 day...why it's not happening ..suggest mee.soon please

Hello...... Levonorgestrel emergency contraceptive pills prevent pregnancy by preventing or delaying ovulation. They may also work to prevent fertilization of an egg by affecting the cervical mucus or the ability of sperm to bind to the egg. ,it is taken within 72 hours of sexual intercourse . it only prevent implantation of ovulation . it may alter period a week here and there.have a 5%-20% failure rate.
