Periods missed by 10 days
Hello Doctor,
my wife' last period dates were from 1st May to 5th May. usually its a 30 days cycle but at times its early or delayed too by couple of days. But it's 12th of June and she has not got her periods yet. We took the pregnancy test on Sunday10th but were negative. Is there still a chance that she is pregnant and we can expect a positive result. She had some pain today on one side of her abdomen. but it was on and off( she cleared out that it was not regular stomach cramps as it happens usually a day before periods) . Please advise if we need to see a doctor immediately or should we wait for few days for another test and then consult a doctor.

Repeat pregnancy test at an interval of one week. If both are negative you can be reasonably sure of not being pregnant. If the abdominal discomfort increases you would need to show a doctor but sometimes it occurs just before a delayed period.
