Periods cramps before two weeks

Asked for Female, 26 Years

My wife and I had intercourse when she was ovulating. After two days ,she was having continuous lower abdomen cramps and body aches like the ones she has during her periods. Its been six days and she is still having cramps. Her period is due in another 10 days . What could be the reason for the cramps . Is there a chance she is pregnant . Should we consult a doctor now!

Chances of pregnancy cn be there if u had sex during fertile period..but so much cramps are not related to pregnancy.. She could hv acquired some infection
