Periods - bleeding for more than 12 days
Hi All, My mom is 45 yrs old, she is bleeding for 12 days now. Is this normal. She also has light lower abdomen pain. Pls advise Regards

Hello, consult a Gynecologist . Bleeding for long period can be due harmonal changes but you have to rule out some condition. For that examination of patient, Pap smear, Sonography, blood test like hemoglobin and thyroid is necessary. Bleeding for long period also cause low hemoglobin which cause weakness, tiredness, breathlessness.
