Periods becoming scantier
Since my last cycle my periods have become scantier. I barely bled for 2-2.5 days in the last cycle and in this cycle periods started with pinkish spotting followed by bleeding after about 8-9 hours. The colour was red though but by the end of first day it has almost stopped. there's light spotting since then, today is my third day. What could be the probable reason and what should I do? Should I go for an ultrasound?? On what day of the cycle?

It is very common to have scanty flow till you have your regular cycle Lifestyle factors such as too much exercise, too little food and stress may affect menstruation. Balancing work, recreation and rest may help regulate the menstrual cycle. After following above thing if your problem persists then go for ultrasound which can be done on any days of cycle If you want trans vaginal ultrasound then go on days 3-4 of your cycle
