Periods are longer 10days

Asked for Female, 27 Years

I am married woman. My Periods are longer this time more than 10 days already. The flow is less than normal and is dark brown/red in color. Wht could be the reason for this? Please suggest. Thanks

Hi there...prolonged menstrual bleeding could be due to many reasons like pcod, fibromas, endometriosis, drug intake especially hormonal drugs, pelvic inflammatory disease. It will require detailed clinical examination and probably even investigations and ultrasound. So kindly consult a gynaecologist for further evaluation.
