Period is not coming

Asked for Female, 28 Years

Period is not coming regularly after delivery. I have 03 years old baby. Sometimes period comes after 2-3 months. My weight is also increasing. Is it symptom for any decease. I consulted several doctor and they told me ,it is happened after delivery for some months as due to breast feading but my baby stopped breast feading after 02 years. And still my period is not regularly coming as per cycle.

Hi there...it may occur in women who have anemia i.e low haemoglobin levels,diabetes or thyroid problems. It is also common in women with high levels of a protein called prolactin in their blood...it can be the side effects of certain drugs like oral contraceptives,antipsychotics,antiepileptics...it may be due to poly cystic ovarian disease as well... So I would suggest you to consult nearest gynecologists for detailed clinical examination and evaluation they will do the needful.
