Period is late.

Asked for Female, 22 Years

Recently I started taking birth control on April 22nd 2017 the day of my first cycle. During the first week of my period I was skipping pills and only took them for 5 days, then stopped due to chest pain. I was expecting my next period on may 17, 2017 but now I am 4 days late . Could taking Birth control for 5 days throw off my cycle ?

If you took birth control pills for 5days then after stopping you might have withdrawl bleeding in same cycle that is ..may be in month of May in such case take that date as your period date and wait and watch If you stop birth control pills bleeding will occur As of now Just wait and watch
