Period doubt
Hi i am an mbbs final year student , i had a dermoid cyst removal 4 yrs back by laproscopy my periods have been normal since when i was 13 yrs old , i experience some pain during 1st day which subsides by the 2nd day they have been regular as well , i usually bleed for 3 days since april during lockdown i bleed like for 1.5 to 2 days , the blood loss on first day is quite than from 2 nd day it becomes.scanty ? Is there anything to worry about

Hi good evening Thnxs for your question I think ur period is regular. No worries abt it. But regarding scanty flow. U should do thyroid profile, and baseline CBC with blood indice. And basic evaluation of uterus and ovaries by ultrasound. Is there any abnormal discharge from vagina after period over? Periods of 2 days is normal.if flow is very scanty then you should get thyroid test and ultrasound scan done .

Hello there +/- 7 days from previous dates is considered normal The amount of bledding does vary on first few days. So that's fine dear. Don't worryy dear Even the pain is normal Hot water bag fomentation will help you out further dear
