PEP medications.
Hi Dr, I had protected sex with commercial sex workers 5 months back. I consulted doctor, he said nothing would happen but my peace of mind, he started PEP medications, after 28days, got tested report was negative and again done after 3 months; it was negative. Due to my stupidity, I had again protected sex with CW, without consultations with Doctor, start taken PEP within 21 days of taken PEP, again have had sex with CW. Should I extend my doses? Due to misunderstanding, I thought PEP like i pill but now read on internet, it doesn't stop HIV virus but control it and can damage your kidney, liver. I am high anxiety person, had done this mistake, please help me, I am afraid to talk to doctor about my case.
