Pelvic inflammatory disease

Asked for Female, 32 Years

I was having serious stomach pain like that of labour pain, a doctor confirmed that it was an infection. I was treated and they did flushing using drip and injections for five days. After the treatment I went for scanning the the result read" the findings are in keeping with pelvic inflammatory disease paid". Which I don't understand. Please can you explain the result better for me?
