Hello! This is not normal and needs to be evaluated by a pediatrician.
Urinating every 5 minutes is too frequent for a 7-year-old. The most likely causes are a urine infection, bladder irritability (sometimes triggered by stress or anxiety), or rarely a sugar-related condition like diabetes.
Next Steps
Please visit a pediatrician soon. They might ask for:
A urine test to rule out infection
A blood sugar test
Details about when and how often he urinates and other relevant things based on the clinical observation of the child
Health Tips
Do not restrict his water intake. If he also has fever, pain while urinating, or is wetting the bed, please see a doctor urgently.
