Single exposure of CT scan cannot cause cancer. In your case the indication for CT , the benefit would obviously be more than the risk you are anticipating ( which is also not needed) . So don't worry.

Hello..Don't panic.. Repeated CT scans may have risk of Cancer very rarely...Single exposure won't cause any harm !!

Very Occasionally exposure to xray or ct scan radiation doesnt cause cancer , if its cancerous your neurologist would have avoided in the first place , SO RELAX

For a single CT scan … Risk increase is extremely small (around 1 in few thousand to tens of thousands) Benefit of scan (finding serious problem) is much more important
