Pcv vaccine
Hi my daughter is due for her 10 weeks vaccine tomorrow. At 6 weeks we got her PCV vaccine (Prevnar 13) in a private hospital. But now govt has included pcv in their programme. So my question is we dont know which brand govt is giving. Should we give same as last time or can we change

So long you are getting same vaccine, brand does not matter. So ahead with 2nd dose. I was checking for the place you belong. .if Covid19 death cases are reported many , stay at home safe. If it safe to go out , then get it. Personally I feel youcan delay for aweek, than to take risk of Covid19.
Next Steps
Follow all precautions against Covid19.use mask and wash your hands. All member must take vaccine against Covid19.

The pneumococcal conjugate vaccine brands available are considered equal. So you can take the second dose at the govt hospital if you wish. Although ideally you should take the same brand.
